Steven Meyer / Barns
Steven grew up with a plush toy factory in his backyard. He learned the craft of toy making and pattern making young. After years of creating toys for his family’s toy company, he began to create with pen and ink rather than scissors. Currently, Steven is dedicating his time working mostly in India Ink on Yupo paper, a polyester sheet of bright white and durable “paper”. Steven is heavily influenced by the countryside surrounding his rural home in southern Vermont.
